This week we introduce you the different types of buttons. The drawings really say it all, but here you have some clarification.
First of all, we see the flat buttons with 2 or 4 holes, than we find the shank variations, that include the flat ones, the bulging ones and the full shark, which is a complete sphere.
Cloths are buttons covered with fabric; stub/snap are pressure buttons.
We also have the knot, that it’s named like that because it’s shaped like a knot, or the beaded, with a 3D decorated surface. Antler, as the name itself says, is an antler made button which is often used in frog closures.
Last but not least, we have three different types of button holes: the classic squared or the variations shaped as a keyhole or a fishtail.
