1. JEFFREE STAR
Jeffree Star is one of the biggest male beauty influencers on social video. He first become famous on Myspace, and then he reached mainstream popularity on Youtube, where he inspires a whole new generation of boys and young men to express themselves through beauty and makeup. He also launched his own cosmetics brand, which has raked in hundreds of millions of dollars.
2. JAMES CHARLES
This U.S. based youtuber became the first male CoverGirl ambassador, paving the way for a new generation of beauty lovers. He is mainly known for his over-the-top glamorous eye makeup looks, and he has launched palettes and brushes with Morphe Brushes. More than 16 million people are following him on both Youtube and Instagram.
Maybelline’s first male ambassador, Manny Gutiérrez has 4.3 million followers on Instagram, where he posts a lot of makeup tutorials, product reviews, and even makeup challenges. He cooperates with subscription company BoxyCharm and represents brands like Lunar Beauty.
In celebration of Pride, Instagram “Queer Eye” and grooming expert Jonathan Van Ness has become Essie’s first non-female brand ambassador. We saw him talking about beauty products and beauty routines on media such as Vogue, Allure, Elle, Popsugar and many more. He counts with almost 5 million followers on Instagram.
A cheerleader turned Instagram beauty influencer, Cohl is one of the freshest faces in the industry. He loves glam and often extravagant makeup looks and he shares beauty tutorials with his more than 380K followers. He has partnered with cosmetics brands like Benefit, Sleek, and Raldh Cosmetics.
